Beverley Look To Bounce Back Against Marlins

The Blue and Golds are looking to pick themselves up from last Saturday’s heartbreaking 24-23 last minute defeat at home to Siddal ‘A’.

Beverley entertain Milford Marlins ‘A’ at the Beverley Leisure Centre in the 2.30PM kick off.
Speaking ahead of the game Beverley’s coach Pat Howdle said;

“I was disappointed with last week’s result. I thought we played well and were very unlucky to get beat. This week I hope to have another strong team out against Milford.”

Howdle will have to make do without Ben Calvert (work commitments), Mike Cooper (injury) and Josh Pooley (suspension).

Howdle is boosted by the return of Lee Stevens, Sam Coleman, Steve Connolly and Callum O’Connor.

A top four spot still is still achievable with a good late run of results. Given a 52-10 defeat of the same side earlier in the season this one has to be a home banker.
