All amateur photographers are invited to submit images which capture Beverley – the place, the people, the architecture, the history, the local happenings – the choice is yours!

Up to 35 photographs will be selected to go on display in Beverley Guildhall for five months from November 2016 to March 2017. Up to four photographs may be submitted between now and 27 July 2016.

Councillor Richard Burton, portfolio holder for civic wellbeing and culture, said:

“The previous competitions really caught the public imagination, and I very much hope that the latest competition will do the same. Beverley is a stunning town, full of interesting and unique images and people, so let’s get some great photographs into the contest, and ultimately on display in the Guildhall!”

More information on the competition, including terms and conditions, guidelines on taking good photographs and how to enter, are available on the Guildhall’s website.
