Calling Young Dancers Across The East Riding

For young residents of the East Riding who are passionate about dance and have the talent and want to realise their potential – East Riding Youth Dance County Company is the place to be.

Auditions are to be held on Sunday 27 September 2015 at The Arts Garage 2, Tokenspire Business Park, Woodmansey. Rehearsals throughout the year take place (fortnightly) on Sundays from 10.15am to 2.15pm.

Artistic Director, Dawn Holgate, former dancer of Phoenix Dance Theatre, said: “Become a member of this company and enjoy a challenging working environment where you will learn new skills and develop your dance technique. Auditions will take place in September and we are looking for young talented dancers who want to develop their dance skills to new and exciting levels.

“Successful applicants will have the opportunity to create their own dance work, enhance their skills and perform to audiences across the region. You will also have the amazing opportunity to work with world class Dance Companies and have performance opportunities.”

The group regularly represent the East Riding at local, regional and national performance events.
