Stall Holders wanted For Armstrongs Club Open Day

in Beverley are looking for local small businesses who would like a stall at their popular open day this August to come forward.

Sally-Ann Rena who runs the club told .net;

“I want to appeal for stall-holders for our open day to make contact. The event will be a chance for local people to come and meet us, have a look around the club.”

Sally is really keen to get people through the doors, so they can have a look around. Armstrongs is a big venue and an ideal choice for parties or other special occasions.

Recent improvements have seen the bar area modernised and they have also hosted the , and Britain’s Got Talent in recent months.

Given the large-scale developments happening on the neighbouring Flemingate Site Sally-Ann is keen to show people what they have to offer.

Sally added;

“This open day is currently so important because of all the huge developments surrounding us on the Flemingate site, we now are a really small fish in a big pond.”

“We really want people to know we have lots going on, and that we are a friendly approachable club, for people and are a key part of the community.”

“Our open day will be on Bank Holiday Monday 31st August from noon until 5pm, we are hoping local stalls will book a table it can be anything from a charity stall, bric-a-brac, handmade crafts and representation of local shops. All we are asking for is for a donation for Alzheimer’s Society.”

“Top date we have a confirmed a visit by Minion Madness, from Hull. Kevin the Minion will be here to meet people and have photographs with his fans.”

“We will also have snacks available throughout the day and BBQ & Ice-creams weather permitting.”
