Dove House Hospice Colour Run – Sign Up Now!

Dove House Hospice are inviting runners from Beverley to participate in the colour run take place in September in Hull.

Fund raisers like the colour run help generate the vital funds that are needed to meet the £6.5 million annual running costs of the Hospice.

Amanda Ashburner from Dove House Hospice said;

“Dove House Hospice will be giving Hull once again the chance to be involved with the unique Colour Festival where everyone can get colour messy.”

“The 5k Colour Run is taking place in East Park Sunday 20th September 2015. The colourful route can be jogged, danced, skipped or cartwheeled. This course is less about your quickest mile and more about having some colour fun.”

While they are hosting a colour run the event is not solely restricted to those who wish to participate with organisers hoping people come along and enjoy a range of other activities and entertainment that will be taking place on the day.

Amanda added;

“Spectators are very welcome to enjoy some of Hull’s best local music and witness the colour festival first hand as the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line, the party continues with a ‘colour festival’ including live bands, music and of course even more coloured paint.”

“There are very limited places available on the day. Therefore, there will be a first come first served policy on registrations on event day, we advise those that would like to register to arrive from midday.”
