Beverley Lad Set To Dye Hair Pink Aid Of Cancer Research

A young man from Beverley, who is 12 years old has come up with a colourful way to raise money for cancer research.

Later this month, Olly, who is a pupil at will be having his hair dyed pink before having cancer ribbon shaved into it.

His mother Donna explained why her son has decided to do it she said;

“Olly will be having his hair coloured pink and having the cancer ribbon shaved in at Ushers Barbers in Beverley on the 29th July in the afternoon.”

“This will mark 8 years of loosing his gran Val to the battle.”

“Olly came up with the idea off his own back and set a target of £150 sponsorship which he has smashed and now has over £300 sponsors.”

Olly is clearly young man with big heart. Resource school coaches to children with disabilities and has 170 hours of volunteering under his belt.

Earlier this year, Olly won the St Stephens unsung hero award for his volunteer work.
