Local property expert, Jayne Morgan is urging home-owners who are considering a move, to put their house on the market now, as currently in Beverley there is huge demand and not enough properties to feed the market.
“There is a noticeable shortage of 3-4 bedroom family homes in the Beverley area that would fall into the £180,000 – £250,000 price bracket. There are a number of factors contributing to a rise in demand including rising employment, economic improvement and low mortgage rates.”
Residents in Beverley will be aware of the large number of new homes being built both in the town and surrounding area, but more than often the prices of new-builds are in excess of £300,000 making it hard for buyers to make the jump up the property ladder.
“Family homes currently on the market are in huge demand, I did fifty viewings on one property in Beverley, leaving literally dozens of families still looking. This really is a great time to put your house on the market.”
Estate Agents Austin Brooks, originally established in North Yorkshire, are now selling properties in East Yorkshire. This expansion has been facilitated by the appointment of Jayne Morgan who lives near Driffield. She says:
“I believe that every customer deserves great advice and an attentive service and my emphasis is on a dedicated personal service that is tailored to suit the individual needs of each client.”
“I am now selling and renting properties in Beverley and the surrounding area, providing everything from specialist services for property developers through to mortgage advice introductions for first-time buyers.”
“Moving home can be very stressful and emotional and it is my job to reduce the stress. Some estate agents say that the home owner is the best person to sell the house but I don’t agree, as you are emotionally attached to the property. Instead I do all viewings and will deal with negotiations for both the sale and purchase. Being a property consultant rather than a standard estate agent means that my clients’ experience runs as smoothly as possible.”
