He settled down into his race rhythm and began to pick of the riders ahead until he passed James East on lap 12 to take up ninth position. he held station for the remaining three laps to cross the finish line in ninth to pick up another seven championship points bringing his total to date to 24.

Dom said: “I thought I was off on the first lap when I was caught out by a cold tyre but managed to recover and continue. We thought we would have a tough race this weekend as Snetterton is my worst circuit. I am not too keen on the track but thanks to Clive Padgett and my team who helped me this weekend we did ok. The next few rounds should be good as they are some of my best circuits, Knockhill, and Thruxton and I hope to do well and score some more points.”

The next round is at Knockhill in Scotland over the weekend of July 3-5 when Dom will be seeking another top result to add to his points tally.
