The popular Rock Roadshow is taking place at the Treasure House on Saturday, 16 May from 11am-3pm, where members of the Hull Geological Society will be on hand to identify rock, fossil and mineral finds.
Members of the public are invited to bring along any interesting items found on beaches and unearth more about them from the experts.
There will also be geological collections to view and information displays, as well as a geologically-inspired craft activity for children.
