Second Local Produce Market Set To Take Place This Week In Beverley

Beverley Town Council will host the second Local Produce Market this Wednesday, which will feature an array of stalls selling local goods.

Taking place at , organisers are hopeful they can build on the success of the inaugural Local Produce Market that was held in April.”

Speaking about the Local Produce Market, , the Town Clerk said;

“We have 21 stalls this week. They will be offering, macaroons, cheese, chocolates, Indian food, fruit wine, fishcakes, pies, meat, honey and preserves, crisps, baked goods and bread, fruit juice, smoked fish and poultry, brownies, beers, herbs and oils, tea and pottery.”

Visitors to the market will also have the opportunity to walk away fantastic prize simply by visiting one of the stalls.

Helen said;

“There is a delicious local food hamper to be won, all you need to do is come and visit the Local Produce Market and complete an application form on the day.”

Furthermore, following the recent local election’s event will give members of the public an opportunity to meet some of the Beverley town councillors will be on site throughout the duration of the market.

First launched on 8 April the market taking place this Wednesday is the second one in a series of six, which have been arranged by Beverley town Council in conjunction with local traders and other local producers.

By holding such markets the town Council are hoping it will help rejuvenate the Wednesday Market part of Beverley by increasing foot for attracting more visitors to that part of the town.
