joined in the ‘’ spirit by holding a charity raffle in their store as well as hosting a ‘Yorkshire fayre’ sampling day on the Saturday of the race.

The raffle’s star prize was a road bike and raised a fantastic £742 for the company’s National Charity Partners, and Diabetes UK.

Tasting day was a great success as well, with customers welcoming the opportunity to taste Wensleydale cheese, Harrogate sausages and Yorkshire crisps, all washed down with Timothy Taylor’s Keithley beers.

Mark Pickering, store manager at Beverley said;

“Our customers gave the raffle tremendous support and I’d like to thank them for helping us to raise so much money for two such worthwhile charities. I’d also like to thank Minster Cycles for supplying the road bike.”

Mark and his team are already busy planning their next fundraising event and he added;
