Improvements At Beverley’s Household Waste Recycling Centre

House Hold Waste Recycling Centre Beverley

Improvement works are to be carried out at Beverley’s household waste centre.

Maintenance and resurfacing works will be undertaken at the site in Weel Road, Weel, just outside Beverley, as well as improvements in the way waste is sorted.

The work will be carried out over two weeks, between Monday 27 April and Friday 8 May.

The site will remain open to the public as normal, and any delays will be kept to a minimum.

The work is being completed by FCC Environment, which manages the council’s 10 household waste recycling sites in the East Riding.

Mike Featherby, the council’s head of streetscene services, said:

“This is part of an ongoing programme of work at our household waste recycling sites which will improve the experience for users and improve the potential for greater recycling at the sites.

“The contractors will work hard to minimise any impact on users of the site, however there may be some delays while these works are being undertaken.”

The Beverley household waste recycling centre at Weel is open seven days a week, from 10am to 5pm.
