Beverley Rugby Club under 13s beat their Driffield counterparts 44 points to 12 this weekend at Beaver Park in an excellent good natured game.
Driffield showed their sporting side as they loaned Beverley two players in order for the game to be contested evenly, a gesture Beverley’s manager described as ‘rugby’s core values at their best.’
Star of the show for the Beavers was Harry Vorwerg who ran in five tries, while Archie Murdoch chipped in with two tries of his own as the home team claimed a well-deserved victory against Driffield.
