Lucky Chip Come So Close At Britain’s Got Talent Live Auditions

Lucky Chip dance group from Beverley had an experience of a lifetime after they made it through to the live auditions for the hit TV show Britain’s Got Talent.

In front of a celebrity panel made up of Simon Cowell, Alicia Dixon, David William and Amanda Holden Lucky Chip came within a whisker of reaching the finals.

Clare Moran who run Streetbeatz told HU17.net

“So they did the audition at Armstrongs  Social Club. A few months later we got a phone call from producers to say we’d made it through to the live auditions in front of the celebrity panel in Manchester.”

“The girls had a full day there filming and performed in from on a live audience and the celebrity panel at the Lowery Theatre in Manchester.”

“Girls got all yes’s from the judges and amazing feedback and even a standing ovation from the whole audience.”

“ After getting through that round the next stage was the semi finals, unfortunately the girls didn’t make the chosen top 50, very close but not quite.”

Despite making an appearance at the auditions in front of the live audience there still unsure if they will be featured on television.

Clare explained;

“Being on TV has not confirmed, they don’t tell you as like to keep you watching the full series. Hoping they do.”

“ They had David Williams ‘twerking’ on stage with them and had some good footage so hoping they get appearance at some point over these next few weeks.”

When asked how the girls felt about the audition and how Clare was been working with them for many years felt she said;

“It was a great experience for the girls and its given them great memories which they will treasure for life.”

“Also I think it’s great for our local community to see local girls doing great at something they love and getting the recognition from it.”
