An article published on HU17.net relating to the possible closure of the Victoria Pub contained information that suggested the sale of the site may include the child care facility located next door.

While the facility was not named the owners of Scallywags Day Nursery subsequently contacted HU17.net to state the business had not been sold nor had any one approached her with an offer to buy the business.

Following the contact from the owners the article was amended with all references and the offending quote removed from the story.

While the owners of the Victoria Pub have confirmed the pub remains on the market HU17.net would like to assure all readers that Scallywags Day Nursery is and continues to trade as normal.
