Appeal To Locate A Victim Of Assault In Toll Gavel

Humberside Police are appealing for help to locate a victim of an assault that took place in Beverley at the end of January on Toll Gavel.

The assault, which occurred on Saturday 31 January  Sunday 1 February 2015 is thought to have happened approximately between midnight to 00:20hrs.

Detective Constable Tony Forbes of Beverley Police Station;

“The victim of this assault has not been in touch with the police for whatever reason. However, we have witnesses that say it was a very nasty assault and he may have sustained injuries.”

“This unidentified victim is said to have a Newcastle or North-East accent and had a plaster cast on his foot and lower leg.

“We believe that he may have been staying in a town Bed and Breakfast or hotel and would appeal for landlords and hoteliers to think back to Saturday.”

“I would ask that they contact us if they have had a man matching the description staying with them or can identify him to contact us as soon as possible.”
