New Broadband Mast Supplies High Speed Wireless Internet Into Beverley

Are you tired of not being able to get online during busy periods? Are you frustrated that you can’t choose internet provider? Beverley residents and owners can relax. There is no need to rely on one provider, local people now have a choice.

This alternative broadband service is available in the town and surrounding villages right now. A brand new mast site means that even more local people can access a wireless broadband service that isn’t disrupted when more customers log onto the internet.

Communications is the region’s pioneering wireless internet service provider, based in East Yorkshire it provides super fast broadband without the need for a landline telephone.

With a large number of masts around the whole of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Quickline is able to beam a signal to a small non-invasive device which is securely fixed to the roof of a home or business premises. Customers can expect to achieve internet connection speeds up to 15Mbs.

Since 2007 Quickline has specialised in rural areas, supplying broadband to remote locations where traditional telecoms companies are unable to reach.

Steve Jagger, Managing Director of Quickline says:

“We have been providing internet services in Beverley and the surrounding villages for a number of years. Until recently wireless internet service providers were unable to compete on connection speeds with traditional telecoms companies such as KC and BT as delivery was always subject to a clear line of site. Now with major developments in the technology we use this is no longer the case.”

“Many of our customers are gamers. We have a fast ping and more responsive connections which prevents the dreaded lagging.”

“Also we look after a large number of home based business owners. For people living on the outskirts of Beverley, traditional internet speeds can be as low as 0.2Mbs. This is clearly unacceptable in this day and age and we want local people to know that we can get you connected in less that one hour.”

“The new mast means that our service is event better and we are able to supply more businesses and residents in the town.”

“Our services include broadband for businesses, residents and schools and internet telephone phone packages. If anyone would like to register an interest in the service visit www.quickline.co.uk.”

Alex Fishpool has been a customer of Quickline since 2011. Along with her husband she runs a highly successful online business from her home in the village of Kelk in the East Riding.

Horse Supplements Direct manufactures high specification supplements for horses and dogs as well as being a supplier of products and nutritional advice to veterinary and animal .

Alex explains:

“Before Quickline we were unable to function effectively online. Our connection speeds with BT were sometimes as low as 0.5Mbs. It could take hours to download a small file by email. Now with Quickline, we receive a great connection which has been instrumental in allowing our business to run successfully.”

“Since joining Quickline we have set up an e-commerce website which allows us to successfully sell our supplements direct to customers, we also do all of our admin and banking online and can now effectively communicate with customers and potential customers via social media.”

“Our audience has gone global and as well as our shop floor business it is a more financially viable way to market our products plus we are able to be more affordable on price.”

“Quickline’s latest wireless technology has provided us with a fast and practical way to manage our business online. We are extremely happy with the service and would recommend it to anyone living in the East Riding.”
