Starting this term, on Monday 12th January an extra one-hour session has been added FA Skills Centre that is held at Longcroft School Sports Hall to handle the demand and open up their sessions to older age groups.

, a FA Skills Coach in the East Riding said;

“We are trying to provide existing and more children with the opportunity to develop technically, physically, psychologically and socially as footballers and young children.”

“To do this, we have got the extra hour 6 until 7 pm in order to offer children ages 8-11 a chance to attend the FA Skill Centre in addition to the 5-7 year olds.”

“Furthermore, now when the 7 year olds turn 8 from the younger group it will allow them to continue with the programme and their development, moving up to the older group.”

The FA Skills Programme run football coaching sessions in a safe, enjoyable and learning environment.
