Accountant’s Christmas Mission

Accountant’s Christmas Mission

The Christmas mission is underway at cba Accountants in Beverley where staff are raising money for the Cash For Kids toy appeal and Christmas Jumper Day.

The practice on will be a drop off point for toy donations and the team is also taking part in Christmas Jumper Day, making their own donation to the charity that raises funds for the benefit of local children.

Jo Hall, Accountant at cba says:

“It is hard to believe that some local children from disadvantaged backgrounds could wake up on Christmas morning with nothing to open. This is a fantastic appeal from Cash For Kids as they ensure these children don’t miss out, plus the money they raise remains in our local community rather than going to a national charity.”

“Last year the toy appeal supported over 14,000 children across the region, with a total of £740,000 worth of gifts collected.”

“Anyone wanting to make a toy donation can drop off their un-wrapped gifts at our offices at 72 Lairgate in Beverley; the appeal is open now and will close on 17 December.”

“We are also inviting local businesses to join in the Christmas Jumper campaign. On the 9 December we will be voting for the best jumper in our office and it would be great if other local businesses post their photos to our Facebook page to join in the Christmas fun.”

“Anyone wanting to support this event can text a £5 donation direct to Cash For Kids via 700700 or alternatively make a donation of their choice via the website vikingfm.co.uk/charity/missionchristmas.”

“We have enjoyed organising events to support our local charities this year and with the recently announced merger, cbaSadofskys, which will formally merge 1 March 2015, we will be sure to continue this support with a larger staff at both our Beverley and Hull offices.”
