Coletta & Tyson Appoints New Chef In Time For Christmas Rush

Garden Centre has appointed a new chef to serve up its festive menu this .

The Woodmansey-based centre has welcomed Leanne Windeler to the team at Oasis Café in time for the start of the Christmas period – the centre’s busiest time of year.

“We are delighted to welcome Leanne to the team at our Oasis Café. She brings with her a wealth of experience catering for a range of clientele and we are confident she will make this Christmas one of the garden centre’s most successful.”

“Our brand new Christmas menu launches on December 1 and we are looking forward to welcoming both our loyal customers and new visitors to the centre throughout the festive season. There is something for everyone at Coletta & Tyson this Christmas with more than 1,000 gifts and decorations on offer, and we hope the festive offerings served up at the café will make the centre a real Christmas destination.”

Leanne is well known for her baking and is already serving up lots of homemade cakes, biscuits and other treats.
She said:

“I am very happy to have joined Coletta & Tyson. I am joining at a very busy time for the centre so I have had to get up to speed quickly but I am now looking forward to launching our new Christmas menu and welcoming visitors to the new-look café. It is a fantastic facility for any garden centre to be able to offer and one that I will be working hard to ensure raises the profile of Coletta & Tyson even further.”

All of the foods used in Oasis Café are sourced from East Yorkshire, including its entire ingredients for its Christmas menu.

The café was redeveloped earlier this year and has proved extremely popular with both regular customers and new visitors to the centre. It features a heritage lounge corner, a dining area aptly named the veg patch and a children’s area.
