Humberside Police have arrested a protester at the Crawberry Hill site in Walkington.
Peter Lomas, who is 39 years old was arrested on Wednesday for criminal damage and also for being in possession of cannabis which is a controlled substance.
Mr Lomas, who is from Hull was charged with both offences and has been bailed and will appear at Beverley Magistrates Court 12th December.
It is alleged that Mr Lomas damaged the fencing on the site which led to his arrest by police.
