Treasure Hunt Gains Support From Local Businesses

A charity treasure hunt, organised by cba Accountants in Beverley is gaining support from other Beverley businesses, all wanting to get involved.

The trail of clues has a family friendly theme and will lead hunters to many of the town’s traders and other businesses.

The event is in aid of Cash4Kids and voluntary transport organisation Beverley Community Lift. It has been designed for both adults and children alike, with all members of the general public welcome to take part.

Lizzy Chapman, Manager of Xen Jewellery says:

“cba Accountants invited us, as well as a number of other businesses around the town, to take part in their treasure hunt. We’re really happy to be involved and support these local charities, and the local area in general.”

“The trail will be linked with a light hearted story involving characters that both parents and children will recognise and the participants will have to connect the characters with the shops in order to find their way to the treasure.”

“The team at cba Accountants want this treasure hunt to become an annual occasion, and with Beverley being the host of a wide variety of events such as the , Puppet Festival and Food Festival etc, I hope it can become a part of Beverley’s calendar of events, and expand our appeal as a town.”

“All the funds raised are going to local charities, and I hope lots of local people will come and support us on the day.”

The treasure hunt will start at cba’s offices on Lairgate, ending at the Kings Head Pub and feature a trail from a number of shops in Beverley town centre, on 26th October. A minimum donation of £2 per family/couple.
