Impressive Blue & Golds Face Warriors In First Round of the Cup

will return to action this Saturday in the 2pm kick off at the Marist Sporting Club in the first round of the Tom Beautiman Cup against Myton Warriors Academy.

Coach Pat Howdle will again need to re-shuffle his side as more new players arrive at Beverley making the squad ever larger and making team selection ever more difficult.

The upside to influx of players is the increased competition that is being created for places that should keep players playing at the top of their game.

In their four league outings so far, the Blue and Golds have posted three wins and a loss, but have still to field a settled line up.

Experimentation is likely to continue for some time yet as Howdle strives to find his best half-back combination, best pack and best centre combination.

So far Glen Anfield,Louis Poskitt and have all impressed in the halfs, whilst Lee Falcus seems to have made the full back slot his own playing some of his best rugby.

The rest is really all up for grabs as Beverley look to continue what has already been an impressive start to the season.
