Beverley Mum Joanne Brady Celebrating After Winning National Award For Blogging

Local Mum of four Joanne Brady has been celebrating after her blog Kids Days Out Reviews was named the UK’s Best Family Travel Blog.

Joanne won the top travel blog prize in the fifth annual Mum and Dad (MAD) Blog Awards, which celebrate the UK’s thriving parent blogging community. The awards were announced on Friday evening at a gala awards ceremony in London, sponsored by Parentdish.co.uk.

More than 250,000 nominations and votes were submitted in the awards this year, with just 75 blogs reaching the finals.
Joanne said:

“I am delighted to have won the award for Best Family Travel Blog. What started as a way of sharing our family days out with others has grown so much. Since August 2012 we have shared information on over 100 family days out around the UK, and are so pleased to have been recognised by our readers, and the UK blogging community.”

As a MAD Blog Award winner, Joanne took home a trophy and a fantastic prize – a holiday voucher courtesy of HomeAway.co.uk, who sponsored her award category.
