Mimi Boutique Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning

Local ladies fashion shop Mimi Boutique did their bit for Macmillan’s today.

Based in the Beverley Georgian Quarter, they held hosted one of the many Coffee Morning’s being held to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Awdrey Foster and her colleague Mary Sellway laid on hand made cakes and coffee for customers.

Awdrey said;

“We have never tried this before, after we got a pack through, we discussed it with the owner of the shop who gave it her backing, so we ran with it.”

Events like this all play their part in what is the biggest fundraising event for the charity. In 2013, 154,000 people signed up, raising a record £20 million.
