Only a few Christmas trees are left for businesses and individuals to sponsor in the 2014 Beverley Minster Christmas Tree Festival.
The festival, which has been getting ever-more popular since it was first staged three years ago, sees the minster filled with trees that have been decorated by local schools, groups and businesses.
This year’s event, which takes place from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th December in the nave and transept, will provide a colourful festive backdrop to a special concert on Saturday 13th.
The will feature the Minster boys’ and girls’ choirs performing the ‘Ceremony of Carols’ by Britten, followed by the Invitatione choir and orchestra performing some baroque Christmas music by Charpentier.
