Street Beatz Make An Impact At World Championships

Street Beatz Dance School are again celebrating after picking up a collect of awards at the UDO World Street Dance Championships.

Held at the SECC Arena in Glasgow Street Beatz which is run by dance teacher Clare Moran entered two crews Scribble and Lucky Chip into the championships.

Scribble went head to head with the top Street Dancers and on just missed out on reaching the finals, while Lucky Chip came away with a second place finish.

Clare said;

“It’s still sinking in that we’ve come second in the world championships.”

“’I am extremely overwhelmed and proud of the girls. They are an absolute credit to me.”

“We always strive to do our best and just enjoy the experiences we get from doing what we do.”

“Obviously coming home with great achievements is fantastic but for me the main thing is that the girls create true friendships and great memories for life.”

“We appreciate all the support we have from people back in our home town as it gives us even more drive. We are glad to be representing Yorkshire at these big events and putting the little guys on the map.”
