Yorkshire Media, Doing It For The Kids

Beverley based business Yorkshire Media are joining forces with to appeal to local companies and individuals to become official partners to the radio station’s official charity, Cash for Kids.

The charity has achieved a phenomenal amount for children in East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire who are disabled, disadvantaged, abused, or neglected – for example, their well-known annual ‘Mission Christmas’ appeal last year delivered over £688,895 of Christmas gifts to 12,608 children across the region to ensure that these vulnerable youngsters had something to wake up to on Christmas morning.

As part of Viking FM’s on-going support for this worthwhile cause, the radio station’s Charity Manager Charlotte Pickering recently took the decision to have a video made to highlight the fantastic work done by Cash for Kids.

East Riding-based Yorkshire Media – who specialise in website design, corporate , and commercial video – were thrilled to be approached and immediately volunteered to undertake the project as a donation to the charity.

Yorkshire Media’s Creative Director, Mark Titcombe, commented:

“Being involved with Cash for Kids has really opened our eyes to the amazing work done by the charity and its teams of dedicated volunteers and supporters, who work tirelessly to help these children. In fact we were so impressed with Cash for Kids that we have adopted it as our company charity. We would urge other local businesses to offer their support to Cash for Kids.”

Charlotte Pickering commented:
