Specialized Bike Stolen From Beverley Leisure Centre

are investigating the theft of a Specialized Cross Trail bike stolen from the sheltered bike stand at the leisure centre at 0750hrs on Friday 25 July 2014.

The bike was chained to the stand but was the chain was cut, and the offenders made off with the bike.

CCTV images show two the officers would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The bike is described as a Black Specialized Cross Trail bike with schwalbe tyres with a white rim.

Although the CCTV images show the two men wanted in connection with the theft the first suspect is described as a white male, about 14 to 19 years old wearing a black beeny hat, black jumper and black tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe running down the outer seams. The second male is described as a white male, aged between 14 to 19 years old wearing a black beeny hat, red jumper and dark-coloured trousers.

The officer investigating this theft is appealing for anyone who saw anything or knows anything about this incident or knows the whereabouts of this bike to contact the police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting Crime Reference CS/2058355/2014.
