Tiger Inn Beer Festival To Incorporate Charity Day For Second Year Running

Charity the Lullaby Trust have linked up with local pub the and the second year running and will host a Family Charity Fun Afternoon in conjunction with their Beer Festival next month.

from The Lullaby Trust said;

“We are pleased to welcome back the Family Charity Fun Afternoon as part of the Tiger Inn annual beer festival on 23rd August 2014.”

“Again We will be fundraising in memory of Ellis Barrett, our son who died over 11 years ago at just 4 days old with all money raised being donated to The Lullaby Trust.”

“Building upon the success of last year’s event we are thrilled to welcome local children’s author and creator of the popular Maddy Monday series, Karl Jackson, to our family day of fun.”

“We will also be helped out on the day by Beverley Minster Primary School Operation Lifestyle team ‘The Minecrafters’.”

“Activities will include face painting, tombola, football competition, henna painting, loom bands and much more. We will also have a number of stalls including cakes, bottles and books.”

On the day there will be a large selection of real ales and ciders will be available throughout the day along with BBQ and live .

Louise added;

“We are looking for donations for tombola prizes, cakes and bottles, donations for these stalls will be gratefully received.

Chantell Dickinson land lady at the Tiger Inn told .net;

“Louise Barrett is a good friend of mine and Simon’s, and she has been personally affected by the issues the charity support.”

The Tiger Inn Beer Festival runs across the Bank Holiday Weekend from the 22nd to the 25th of August.  Last year the charity raised hundreds of pounds and are hoping to do the same this year.
