Beverley Braves Good Form Continues As They Beat Myton

The game following a semi-final victory is always a tough one but Beverley Braves under 11s sidestepped this potential banana skin with a thoroughly efficient performance in which they scored five tries and conceded none, which is no mean feat at any level and should be applauded.

Will Cohen (2), Charlie Gay, Joe McCabe and Owen Miller were the Braves try scorers with the latter also slotting 2 conversions.

But the real stars of the show were who made several breaks from the second row and full back Alexei Rawlings, who at times looked like he ‘had spiders on him’ he was so elusive from the opposition, his best of the season.

Lots of boys spent time playing in unfamiliar positions and didn’t look out of place which also bodes well for the future.

Coach told his charges afterwards;

“If you always do what you’ve done, you’ll always get what you always got.”

Final Score : Beverley Braves 24 Myton Warriors 0
