Boxing Club Bag Over £400 At Local Tesco Store

Track Fitness and Boxing Club raised well over £400 after the club were invited into the local Tesco store to pack bags.

Based at Beverley Youth Centre, dozens of local young people have already signed up for the community based club and there was a great turnout to help at the bag pack.

Since its opening Tesco have been keen supporters of the club, Dave Ryley, Tesco’s Community Champion, said;

‘‘I would like to thank our customers for their support and generosity. Thanks to our customers, the club raised a fantastic £460.”

Track Fitness and Boxing Club expressed their gratitude to Tesco and their customers, Phil Dodsworth one of the clubs coaches said;

“It was a great day and we all really enjoyed raising the profile of Track with the people of Beverley.”

“We got such a lot of positive feedback from shoppers who took time to talk to the kids.”

“All of us connected with the club are grateful to Tesco for allowing us to take part in a bag packing session. All ages came long to help the club raise much needed funds.”
