For anyone who only knows Beverley Minster as a big building at the end of a street there are some special opportunities to find out more this summer.
Last year’s very successful ‘Discover Beverley Minster’ is back, giving casual visitors the chance to just wander around the building, browse in the shop, hear some of the stories behind the building or even just enjoy a complimentary cream tea.
There will also be special roof tours at 3.15pm and guides around to answer any questions about the building, its decorations and to point out unusual artefacts and stories.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome from 2.30-5pm on Friday 4th July and 1st and 29th August.
