East Riding of Yorkshire Council has launched a new property marketing brand Land – Property – Business Accommodation that features a QR code so that customers searching the market can use smart phones or mobile devices to access the property search section of the council’s website and download the relevant details and documents for all property available.
The new boards have been launched as part of the council’s transformation agenda aimed at giving customers easy and convenient access to council services through digital media.
The council usually has a range of property and business accommodation to buy/or let, including start-up units, residential, industrial, office space and development opportunities.
Councillor Jane Evison, cabinet portfolio holder for economy, investment and inequalities, said: “The sale and letting of council-owned property and land can assist in attracting new inward investment and new economic opportunities to the East Riding.
“The council is keen to support the local economy in any way possible and offering land for development and providing property for sale or let is a key way of allowing businesses to grow and prosper as well as supporting existing jobs and creating new opportunities.
“The brand will help clearly market land, property and business accommodation available to buy or let incorporating the latest technology, allowing quick and easy on-line access to property marketing details.”
