Friends, family and the near and dear ones of do a sponsored walk in Emily’s name as a celebration of her life. All money that has been donated is going to her favourite charity “redwings horse sanctuary”

On Mother’s Day we sadly lost an amazing young woman in a car accident. All her friends and family have gathered together to walk a route through , starting at black mill, to raise money for a charity in her name.

“We wanted to make this a celebration of her life, a bright happy fun day as she would have loved. She loved her animals as we all know and if there was a way to help, she would be the first one to do so. She loved her horses so the charity seemed appropriate as they have played a major part of her life. She is and always will be my best friend and I hope that she and her family are proud of what we have done in her name.”

“She will never be forgotten and will always be loved by everyone. This is how we who are close to her thought would be an appropriate way to celebrate her life, with something she cared so much about. I know she’ll be up in heaven looking after the animals in need, and I know she’s be smiling at what we have done for her. She was a turkey incredible young women who anyone would have been privileged to know. Im so happy we hit way over our target for the donations, and I’m sure she’ll be very proud of what we’ve achieved. We will always love you and you’ll always be our angel. I am very proud and lucky to have had such an amazing best friend like her!” – Hollie-India Boxall.

“Emily was the kindest, most generous, thoughtful person anyone could meet and I feel privileged to have had her as a best friend. Emily was an animal lover and doted on her family dog, Max. Along with Thumper the rabbit and the many horses she used to ride. I have many memories of Emily and her dad, John, making Max jump up at me.. Knowing full well I am very weary of dogs! I can still hear her beautiful giggle just like it was yesterday. On so many occasions Emily and I would end up feeding horses through gates or going in the fields with them, she just adored them! There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t think about Emily and I hope that up there she’s taking care of all the beautiful animals just like she did when she was with us.” –

“Emily loved everything and everyone. She was a genuine, kind-hearted person. Horses were a huge part of her life, and this event is perfect for her. I believe she will be very proud of everybody involved. She has touched so many lives and will be greatly missed. I have lost a true friend but I have memories to cherish forever. Emily was beautiful and funny. She had the ability to make people smile. Her personality was unique and charming. I’m lucky to have known such an amazing girl. She will always be loved and always be remembered.” – Vicky Hudson
