Keith Graham Memorial Match A Huge Success

Members of Beverley RUFC came together taking part in a Memorial Rugby match in memory of Keith Graham.

Keith who sadly passed away from cancer was the founder of the Beverley a side that is made up of the ageing players at the club.

Keeping with Bandit tradition ahead of the kick both teams had a nip of Sherry and then held a minute silence as they remembered a much loved member of the club.

Two teams, the original Bandits and the current Bandits went head to head in physical game that saw the likes of Alan Dale, and countless others roll back the years and take to the Beaver Park Pitch.

Dave Price from Beverley RUFC said;

“It was a fantastic day, everyone at the club pulled together to make this a very special event. We are now looking to repeat the fixture annually at the end of season.”

The match helped raise around £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
