Beaver Hosts Open Mic Night for Cancer Charity

An open-mic night is being held at The Beaver pub in Beverley tomorrow, Wednesday 23rd April in aid of Macmillan.

It promises to be a night of fun, music and winners with many local businesses having already provided some fantastic prizes for the raffle.

Laura Douse organised the event in memory of her father Alun Williams who died from Cancer last year.

Laura said:

“Macmillan provide invaluable support to those with Cancer and they really helped my dad when he needed it. This is the second open mic night at the Beaver, following the huge success of one we held last year which saw us raise over £500 for the charity.”

“Local businesses have been very supportive of the event and as a result we have got some fantastic prizes for the raffle and already have some great talent lined up to perform.”

Musicians wanting to perform on the evening are asked to attend early as slots are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

The Macmillan Open Mic night is being held at The Beaver pub, Beverley on 23rd of April at 7pm.
