Tracing your family history is a very popular and fascinating activity – but sometimes it can be difficult to understand how to start. The family history courses run at the Beverley Treasure House are an excellent way to get started in your new hobby or develop your knowledge.
The next family history course is starting at the Treasure House in May. The course lasts nine weeks and is ideal for people getting started with tracing their family tree or who have been researching a while.
The course will be held on Thursday evenings and starts on Thursday May 1st. The total cost is £50 and includes a pack on everything you need to get started with your family history.
This is a great chance to investigate your ancestry and meet other new family historians. By the end of the course everyone will leave with the start of their family tree and a pack of information to help them carry on researching.
The course will be lead by expert tutors, who’ll introduce various ways in which participants can find information about their ancestors.
