A sporting challenge not for the faint hearted is awaiting determined individuals at White Rose Polo Club. Eager participants are wanted to compete in a Pro-Am tournament, at one of Yorkshire’s most prestigious polo events.
White Rose Polo Club is offering an intensive training course to turn complete amateurs into Polo players. Over the course of eight weeks, participants will be pushed to their limits – physically and mentally whilst completing a rigorous curriculum of polo riding, mallet, theory and tactical work.
“For the amateurs taking part, we provide them with all the gear from hats to boots, pads to mallets. They’ll also receive fitness training from a personal fitness instructor and intensive tuition from Tony Wesche, the club’s HPA qualified coach, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to compete at such a high level.”
Taking place on Sunday, 22 June, at Castle Howard, The Paladin Capital Castle Howard Cup is one of the most popular events in the UK’s polo calendar, attracting hundreds of spectators and VIP’s.
