Chalk Lane picked up a vital away win as in their quest to finish in the top three of the Humber Premier League.
Currently occupying third in the table, Lane made the short trip to face fourth placed Sculcoates Amateurs at Hull & East Riding Sports Club winning the game by a single goal.
Sculcoates Amateurs do remain favourites to clinch third place as they have six games in hand over Chalk Lane.
They will get to play one of those games next week as they title contenders Reckitts AFC on Tuesday evening.
