Bonnie Bishop To Perform In Walkington

Organisers of the Cornucopia Festival are delighted to announce that, as part of the build up to this year’s event, highly acclaimed Nashville based singer songwriter will play at Walkington Village Hall on Sunday March 16th.

Texas born Bonnie has been writing and performing her highly original and soulful material to an ever increasing audience over the past few years, but has recently made a huge impact when the song ‘Not cause I wanted to’ was recently recorded by Bonnie Raitt on her latest album, and she has also had songs featured on the hit US show ‘Nashville’

Bonnie Bishop will be appearing at Walkington as part of an extensive UK tour, and this will be a great chance to see a truly original artist in an intimate venue. The evening will also feature support from local singer Neil Thomas and a real ale bar will be available.

Cornucopia 2014 will take place on 26th and 27th September and full details of this year’s event, including earlybird ticket availability, will be released by March 1st.

Tickets for the Bonnie Bishop show are priced at just £8 and are available from Walkington Village Shop or by calling 07969 457382.
