Beverley Town secured all three points beating North Cave with 2 – 0 with a goal in each half at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Daniel Kingsly Jnr opened the scoring in the first half with Andrew Stott adding a second to settle the nerves at Norwood.
Town remain in third place in the Humber Premier League but have seven games in hand on the leaders Reckitts AFC.
Next up for the Humber Premier League Champions are Goole United a side pushing at the top of the table.
With Reckitts playing in the cup the match with Goole will present Town a chance to close in on the leaders.
