Hodgson Sealants Unveils New Laboratory

Beverley-based Hodgson Sealants, one of the largest sealant manufacturers in the UK, has unveiled its brand new, state-of-the-art R&D laboratory. The new laboratory was designed and fitted by local firm, Lab Systems Furniture, and will be used by the company to create bespoke sealants for its clients.

The laboratory will also be used for developing new products, such as the recently launched Hodgson Hybrid range, which uses innovative polymer technology to offer the benefits of a sealant and adhesive in one product.

Hodgson Sealants prides itself on being able to offer a personal service, which is why the laboratory plays a pivotal role in its operation. Instead of simply offering an ‘off the shelf’ product, Hodgson Sealants takes its clients’ substrates and tests them in their laboratory to ensure the product they recommend is as effective as possible and suitable for its application.
