Locrian Ensemble are making a welcome return to Toll Gavel United Church, Beverley on Thursday 12 December 2013 at 7.30pm, to present Carols by Candlelight.
The Locrian Ensemble are some of London’s most respected and in demand classical musicians who feature in films such as Gladiator and Harry Potter and in studios from Abbey Road to the biggest musical hits in the West End.
Nothing gives them more pleasure than performing their theatre shows, dressed in sumptuous period costume and lit in stunning candlelight setting.
Carols by Candlelight features many beautifully arranged carols and Christmas favourites performed with harp, strings and the crystal clear voice of Phantom of the Opera star, Jill Washington who sings tunes from Handel’s Messiah to White Christmas, The 12 Days of Christmas and Walking in the Air, accompanied by shimmering strings and thrilling harp playing.
This is the ideal way to get into the true spirit of Christmas.
