Christmas Comes But Once A Year With Beverley Set To Raise A Beer!

After the huge success of the second Beverley real ale festival held at the Beverley Memorial Hall back in October. Festival organizers have been inundated with requests to hold a special Christmas festival.

Unfortunately the Beverley Memorial hall was booked up across all weekends leading up to Christmas so it was not looking like a possibility until the Beverley Rugby Club stepped in and is providing a fantastic setting for the first Beverley Christmas real ale festival!

The festival is taking place on the 20th and 21st of December in the main function room at the club and with additional space in a heated marquee. The festival will open on the Friday afternoon 12.00 – 6.00 pay on the door, Friday night 6.30 – 11.00 (ticketed) sat afternoon 12.00 – 6.00 pay on the door and Saturday night 6.30 – 11.00 (ticketed ) Tickets are available from Beverley tourist information, Streamers and online

Real ale and cider lovers will be again in for a real treat in terms of that fantastic selection of ales and ciders and there will of course be a few seasonal tipples including mulled cider!

Festival Organiser Paul East said;

“We are really looking forward to the Christmas ale festival it feels a little bit like an end of year party! And it’s going to be great to have a few festival ales to warm us all up in the winter months!”

“Lots of people could not get hold of tickets to the last one so we hope that by holding the Christmas festival those people can make it along, tickets can be bought both at the tourist info and at Streamers.”

The Christmas real ale festival is being held on the last weekend before Christmas and festival organisers are expecting good numbers off the back of the last beer festival and are hoping to catch the party season in full swing by offering an alternative Christmas night out ideal for Christmas works nights out.
