This Sunday people a parade was held as Beverley marked Remembrance Sunday.
People gathered to watch the parade following it onto the Memorial Gardens in Hengate.
A service was held as the town stopped to remember those who have lost their life while serving their country.
Around the garden a number of tributes were left not just marking the first and second world war but men and women who have lost their lives in more recent times.
Tributes were placed around the gardens and by the various memorials as people stopped to remember.
