This year’s Beverley Festival of Christmas will be opened by Strictly Come Dancing star Camilla Dallerup.
The event which takes place on the 8th December will be officially opened by Camilla who is the star of this year’s Bridlington Spa pantomime Cinderella at Wednesday Market at 10am.
It will then be the turn of Santa who will leave in the parade at and will stay with his reindeer in Saturday Market where he will meet with the youngsters.
Organisers of the Beverley Festival of Christmas said;
“This award winning festival is one of the highlights of the year for the town of Beverley with a fantastic mix of entertainment and retail outlets there is something for everyone.”
“The popular traditional Victorian Christmas market also returns with over 100 stalls selling a variety of wonderful products.”
“Also don’t forget to visit the famous Santa with his Cairngorm reindeer. This event generates a huge economic boost for the town and is enjoyed by all who visit it.”
“We are also hoping to win the Remarkable tourism event of the year for the third time running for this year’s event.”
The Park and Ride is in place again this year as normal and will cost £1 return
