Real Ale Festival Organisors Set To Cash In With New Wine & Cheese Event

 

With Beverley riding on a food and drink high and the town becoming nationally recognised for its many fine restaurants, pubs, bars and festivals it feels like the right time to launch a festival dedicated to fine wine, champagne and cheese!

The Beverley Wine and Cheese festival is taking place on the 29th and 30th of November and the beautiful Masonic Hall on Trinity lane. With only 120 tickets each night tickets are set to sell out fast! The Saturday afternoon session is pay on the door so if people miss out on tickets there is still an opportunity to pay a visit.

Supported by Vanessa’s Deli the exclusive event will have over 40 fantastic wines and champagne for guests to try along with a superb selection of cheese selected to match the wines on offer.

Tickets are available to buy from Vanessa’s Deli and guests are encouraged to get tickets early to avoid disappointment

Festival Organiser James Harper said;

“This event is the idea of one of our team who is a real wine fan and thought it would be great to offer wine in a similar setting to a beer festival”

The opening night of the Wine festival coincides with the Beverley Christmas lights switch on and the Saturday with the Christmas food festival and festival organisers are expecting many people to really kick off the festive season with a great few nights trying different wines and sampling great cheeses

Guests are being encouraged to dress for the occasion to help create a fantastic atmosphere suitable for the grandeur and heritage that the Masonic Hall boasts. Live music will be on both nights and guests will also have the opportunity to buy wine and cheese they like to take away – perfect for Christmas presents if they last that long!
