Charity Bike Ride Help Raise Over £200

On Sunday 15th September 2013 a charity bike ride, to raise funds for the Down’s syndrome Association took place leaving from place and arrived at Hornsea Coastguard Station.

The charity event was held to raise awareness of Down’s syndrome while successfully raising funds to support the work of the Down’s syndrome Association.

Members of the Hornsea Coastguard Rescue Team held an open day to help support the event.

Refreshments and a raffle took place at the station and members of the public had the opportunity to speak to members of the team and have a look at some of the equipment that the team uses.

Everyone at Hornsea Coastguard Rescue Team would like to congratulate everyone that took part in the event and are pleased to have been a part of such a worthy cause.

A total of £222.00 was raised for the Down’s Syndrome Association.
