Beverley Skincare Doctor Launches A Training Venture

A respected Beverley skincare doctor has launched a new training venture.

A published author of several scientific skincare papers, Dr. has established a new training division to her FaceWorkshops consultancy in response to beauty therapists’ requests for her to share her expertise.

Her first course, Advanced Facial Techniques and Integrative Skincare, comprises three half day modules on 19th and 20th October in Beverley and is an advanced course for experienced beauty therapists.

Delegates will benefit from Dr. Steventon’s 20 years of academic research and clinical practice and learn about the practical application of facial skincare science combined with traditional techniques of facial and massage.

The training is tailored to the therapists needs and will advance their understanding of integrative skin diagnosis, anti-ageing skincare routines and nutritional advice for optimal skin health.

Dr Steventon explained the rationale for launching the training course;

“Because my experience spans both academic research and practical salon experience, I am often asked to run training courses by advanced therapists who are interested in furthering their knowledge by understanding how science influences skincare.”

The theoretical and practical modules will take place in Beverley and at the salon in . The cost is £399 and the number of places is limited. For more information, please e mail Dr. Steventon on info@faceworkshops.com.

Czech Republic born Dr. Steventon uses her PhD in skin science combined with her professional facial therapy training to provide her FaceWorkshops clients with a bespoke package of scientifically validated products combined with facial therapies in the tranquil Garden Retreat salon in Walkington.

Before establishing the independent skincare consultancy FaceWorkshops in 2009, Dr. Steventon’s experience spanned several years and continents – from prestigious skincare brand, La Prairie in her native Czech Republic to Shiseido in Japan and Smith and Nephew wound healing in Hull.
